Dr. Donalyn Heise, Dr. Emily Ruch, and Janna Bernstein all have had papers relating to Paul Revere Williams accepted for presentation at the 2010 National Art Education Association (NAEA) meeting. The meeting will be held in Baltimore and the theme this year is "Art Education and Social Justice." Heise is a Co-Principle Investigator for the Paul R. Williams Project and Ruch and Bernstein were both participants in the 2009 Paul R. Williams Summer Institute. Heise and Ruch's joint paper is Footprints from the Soul: Building Resiliency Through Visual Journals. William's life and work is a model for overcoming adversity. Janna Bernstein is presenting two papers: Celebrating Peace Through Diversity and Evolution of a Call to Action: Mosaic Stepping Stones to Peace Memorial. In both papers Bernstein uses Williams as an example.
