In the January 27, 2010 electronic issue of Design Within Reach: Design Notes, writer Gwendolyn Horton discusses the history and art of the neon sign. In the article Horton mentions the “bone yard” at the The Neon Museum in Las Vegas and the museum’s goal of preserving this unique American art form. In 2011 the museum will open a permanent exhibition illustrating 70 years of Vegas neon landmarks. The visitors center will be the restored lobby of the Paul R. Williams designed La Concha Motel. The author has included an electronic link to the Paul Revere Williams Project website.
