Edward Cella, Director of Edward Cella Art+Architecture, has generously given permission for the PRW Project to post on the web site seven Carlos Diniz (1928-2001) renderings for an unrealized Williams and David Jacobson project, The Hollywood (1961). Diniz was one of the last of the 20th century’s “great architectural delineators to work in the tradition of the hand-drawn building perspective.” Diniz's role in the architectural process was to imagine and communicate to investors, planners, and review agencies the potential of the architect's design concept. Diniz was a master. These drawings form part of a larger exhibition, Carlos Diniz: Visualizing a New Los Angeles/ Architectural Renderings of Carlos Diniz, 1962-1992 at the Edward Cella Art+Architecture (August 7, 2009 - September 28, 2009) located in Los Angeles.
